This did not happen ...
This did not happen by chance? Well the universe is so big, surely it is going to happen somewhere. And how long ago did Isaac Newton live? Did he have any idea of how massive the universe is? Do you think, if he was alive today, he would believe that the universe is only 6000 years old? No, he almost certainly would not.

@rubalcaba1984 ...
@rubalcaba1984 Ancient Egyptians: Sun goes across the sky, you can't explain that, must be GOD Newtonian era philosophers: Earth supports life, you can't explain that, must be GOD Pre Darwinian Europe: Life exists, you can't explain that, must be GOD! Rubalcaba1984: Antimatter doesn't exist, you can't explain that, must be GOD!

@Kinosis79 because ...
@Kinosis79 because there is a pretty massive difference between a god who created the universe, yet has no association or care about humans, and the archaic image of a petty and vengeful human god who spends his time telling iron age primates in the desert how to behave.

@tapelegs Einstein ...
@tapelegs Einstein did believe in God. Why throw in "personal" God to try and make people think he didn't believe in any God?

Antimatter doesn't ...
Antimatter doesn't exist. If it did, the universe might have destroyed itself in a flash brighter than the Big Bang, no argument there. But matter doesn't just disappear. If it once existed, it had to go somewhere. In fact, the universe is more right-handed than left-handed. The obvious question is: why does matter have a privilege over antimatter? That alone violates the CPT symmetry principle. The universe did not form by itself. God formed it, and He preferred matter to antimatter.

Atheist can use ...
Atheist can use their dangerous imagination all they want but they still have to answer in a logical way how did all the laws of life and the universe come into existence. How is it that a proteins are a law for life. Evolutionist say well it is what it is and look we are here aren't we? Remember that the big bang is not real and it is just a part of the imagination. Matter CANNOT be created or DESTROYED. Only God has the power to do that.

Is your brain a ...
Is your brain a product of intelligent design? Can you trust your own thoughts? Can you explain how your consciousness is in your body and not someone else's? Do you know what a sin is? It won't hurt to believe in God and be wrong, but what if you don't believe and then your wrong. It's written in the bible that you are with out excuse.

Why does everyone ...
Why does everyone assume evolution is a fact? Is it because you were told it was? Answer this question. How did the first creature know to eat? Hopefully it instantly developed an intestinal tract and digestive system to go with it. Did it only have an entrance but no exit? That would spell disaster. How was eatable food waiting for the creature? If evolution was an accident then the life form would have many vital accidents and not continue evolution, posing a threat to existence.

rubalcaba1984 on 2012-02-16
Do you really want ...
Do you really want to believe in the false evidence that you are from a primitive creature? Every creature has its own unique abilities and they work flawlessly. Wouldn't there be many deformed looking creatures with bodily functioning imperfections and strange unexplainable deformed fossils in your made up geological column you believe in? But if the creatures were from random chance and they were too deformed to continue and then die, evolution ends there. Natural selection can't fix death.

How would the first ...
How would the first cell that you claim life came from, form with all its perfect parts and tiny electric motor. If you believe it formed itself, then explain to me how it waited around a million years half developed without dying. Hopefully the first cell didn't die right away posing a threat to our existence. Then how was the first creature formed? Did it take a million years for other cells to multiply and realize they wanted to connect and take another million years gathering up? They die

You assume ...
You assume everything had consciousness from the beginning. Natural selection only keeps what is necessary. Asexual would be more approved for survival. Don't tell me male and female sexual genitals are an accident to. Do you understand how the uterus needs to be perfect from the beginning and all the important parts are ready like the egg to reproduce? If the males sperm was not perfect then it would not survive the journey. There are laws like the egg only accepts one sperm. Pure chance ha

You do a little wiggle and you turn yourself around and *THAT'S* what it's all about. How could any rational person launch a counter argument to this simple truth?

@twostepRMX - As ...
@twostepRMX - As you point out, the vastness of the universe is beyond human comprehension. This does not argue against God; on the contrary, it is a deafening declaration FOR God. I don't know anyone, theist or otherwise, who proclaims that Earth is the "one and only." But I do know this: If there are millions, or billions of Earth-like planets, this is no more or less astounding than the idea that there is only one. And we are faced with the awesome mystery of creation...

Christians believe that it earth was created by "god". No. there is other life on the billions of planets. It had to happen.

Everything is ...
Everything is really pretty because GOD. You know how little sense that makes? There are trillions upon trillions of planets in the universe, with billions of different combinations for distance, size, elemental make-up, etc. it would only make sense that at least ONE of these would fit the standards for life, and the fact that we are alive and observing that, proves it.

@tapelegs 4)Newton ...
@tapelegs 4)Newton was also coming from a time when only 6 planets were thought to exist. Based on the assumption of only 6 planets, the random occurrence of a life sustaining planet does seem impossible, but so much when you have the modern knowledge of hundreds of billions of billions of planets 5)Other famous scientists did not believe in a personal god, such as Einstein and Feynman, why not mention them as well, aren't you being one sided in only mentioning scientists that support your view?

1) The title of ...
1) The title of this video is misleading and would imply a video about Newton's views on religion, not a video about Newton's contributions to science, followed by a quote 2) Newton's status as a prolific scientist does not make his religious viewpoints more credible, Newton also believed in alchemy, yet you don't make a video about why alchemy is real because Newton believed it 3) Universal Gravitation isn't even the correct model for describing gravity

Newton was a smart guy but this quote is pretty easy to dismiss today due to the fact that we know that there are billions of galaxies and solar systems which means that the chances of a planet "randomly" being in the perfect position relative to the sun or any other star is pretty high.

@Tuber77 I understand what Einstien is saying, yet I don't accept his notion that atheism is the result of a crusading spirit. I don't have any personal issue with religion, my problem is with the attack on scientific knowledge and process through political means.

@Tuber77 From ...
@Tuber77 From Einstein "I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being." 28 Sep 1949 to to Guy H. Raner Jr
